Pricing and Specifications 

 

Prices and specifications are guaranteed valid for no more than thirty days from the date of the provided quote. All prices quoted will be FOB our showroom or the delivery address unless otherwise specified, as applies to out-of-state shipments. If applicable, local or regional sales tax will apply to furniture purchases. Boulder Furniture Arts reserves the right to change dimensions, design and/or construction, price lists, or product literature without notice. Variations in color and grain pattern cannot be guaranteed: natural materials, handwork methods and expert/artistic decisions are at play to achieve the most beautiful final result. Boulder Furniture Arts respects wood and does not make guarantees on behalf of nature for any color or pattern on any specific piece. Boulder Furniture Arts will attempt to match a provided stain sample as best as possible. Boulder Furniture Arts does not apply spray finishes, and cannot guarantee exact color matches for those orders requesting a stain match to an existing piece of furniture. Tints and stains that are oil-based may be applied in-house on a case-by-case basis. Changes may be made to an order after the date of deposit at the discretion of Boulder Furniture Arts. Post-production changes to furniture are treated as separate from the original order and are subject to a new, separate quote and timetable, with the exception of production defects. Orders intended for rush building may be subject to a surcharge and are not subject to any discount, changes after the initial deposit, cancellation, or refund. 

 

Order Entry & Confirmation 

 

All orders are subject to a non-refundable half deposit to be scheduled for production. Boulder Furniture Arts attempts to clarify and define all purchase orders ahead of deposit. Outstanding TBDs, specific changes, and decisions made by the client may affect the final balance amount due. After a deposit is placed, Boulder Furniture Arts may send a digital copy to the client via email. This copy serves as the order of record. Boulder Furniture Arts reserves the right to refer to this copy during the building process. Certain furniture orders will require written confirmation from the client. In the case of an order requiring written confirmation, orders may not be placed with the workshop, and lead time may not begin until written confirmation is received. Changes to orders after initial confirmation may be subject to additional written confirmation. Furniture orders are entered on a first-come-first-serve basis. All orders are subject to a minimum of 8 weeks lead to completion, with most orders requiring 12-14 and some requiring up to 18 weeks. It is essential to create our work with care, precision, detail, and conscientiousness, and lead time is a large part of what makes our process so effective. 

 

Refunds/Cancellation 

 

All orders are considered firm and are not subject to cancellation. Deposits and balances are nonrefundable. 

 

Storage 

 

Boulder Furniture Arts may store furniture free of charge for a period of seven or more days, either to schedule a shipment or coordinate delivery. If a client cannot receive their furniture for more than 14 days after notice of completion is made, a storage fee will be incurred. 

 

Warranty 

 

Boulder Furniture Arts will repair or replace, at its discretion and without charge to the original purchaser, any product or part thereof that fails due to defects in material and workmanship, under normal care, for the lifetime of the original owner. This warranty does not cover misuse or abuse of products, dramatic temperature changes, exposure to unusual conditions, or damages incurred by contact with other products. Repair or replacement of discontinued furniture will be at the discretion of Boulder Furniture Arts. Natural color changes, variations or movements in wood products, exposure to substances, extreme temperature changes, and direct sunlight may cause color changes and/or surface damage. These are circumstances beyond the control of Boulder Furniture Arts and are not warranty issues. Boulder Furniture Arts has the exclusive right to make the final determination of product misuse or abuse. Except as stated above, Boulder Furniture Arts makes no express or implied warranties as to any product and, in particular, makes no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. All of the products shown in Boulder Furniture Arts collections and described in Boulder Furniture Arts price lists remain the property of Boulder Furniture Arts, with the sole right reserved to manufacture and distribute. This warranty is the customer’s exclusive remedy for product defects and does not apply to damage caused by a carrier, installer, user modification, or attachments to a product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
